Free AP Resources

SSHS Library would like to make sure Advanced Placement students know about the free AP test prep resources available to them. We have an online database with outstanding test prep resources for almost all of the AP courses that we offer at SSHS. The database includes several study guides, but even better, there are full-length, timed practice tests.

Our GALE databases may be accessed from the library website. The database with test prep materials is called “Testing and Education Reference Center” (TERC). It is the last one listed on our database page.

The TERC database has a myriad of college and career resources available, but here is a quick link to go directly to the AP test prep materials.
bit.ly/sshsAPprep
The password, or library ID, is susana
Students should create an account in TERC to save their work.

For more information or help accessing the free resources, come into the SSHS Library or contact Mrs. Forbes at carol.forbes@simivalleyusd.org.

Good luck on your AP exams, Troubadours!

Distinguished Speaker Series

“Who’s Afraid of Genetic Engineering”

Should humans be designing human babies? Because we can do it, should we? These are questions that will be addressed by Dr. Carol Curchoe, reproductive biologist on Wednesday, April 17 at the 2019 Distinguished Speaker Series event. Dr. Curchoe will be accompanied by two student speakers, Manal Mian and Sahiti Bodapati, who will present on more aspects of future genetic research.

This talk is FREE and starts at 6:00 PM in the PAC.
