Choir Concert

SSHS Vocal Music presents: Revolutionary in the PAC
Rescheduled to January 9, at 7:00 PM

Dear students and Parents,
Due to the unfortunate events that occurred in Ventura County, Santa Susana’s Choir Department has rescheduled the date of the Revolutionary Concert to Wednesday night, January 9th at 7:00 PM. If you already bought tickets to this show your seats are being held for the new date.  If you cannot attend on January 9th, please contact Jennifer Lang at Jennifer.Lang@simivalleyusd.org or via telephone at 805-520-6800 x 3739 to arrange for a refund or to donate your tickets back to the choir program.

 Counseling Interested in earning college credit while in high school? Want to take Moorpark College classes on our campus? Next semester we will be offering:

PSY M08: Abnormal Psych on Tuesday & Thursday 3:15 - 4:30 pm Introduces the scientific study of psychopathology and atypical behaviors, broadly defined. Investigates abnormal behavior from a variety of perspectives including biological, psychological, and sociocultural approaches. Surveys theory and research in abnormal behavior, and intervention and prevention strategies for psychological disorders are also introduced.

CD M02: Human Development: Infancy/Adolescence on Wednesday 3:15-6:05 pm Examines major developmental milestones for children, both typical and atypical, from conception through adolescence in the areas of physical, psychosocial, and cognitive/language, emphasizing interactions between maturational processes and environmental factors. Introduces developmental theory and reinforces investigative research methodologies by observing children, evaluating differences, and analyzing characteristics of development at various stages. Prepares those working with students in early care and education programs including transitional kindergarten, kindergarten, and early education classrooms.
