Traffic Enforcement | As you know, the Simi Valley Police Department works closely with our School District in support of one of our shared primary concerns - student safety. An area of great concern is our parking lot and the traffic getting in and out of it. In the morning, student drop-offs are staggered and traffic flows smoothly. However, afternoon pickup is problematic. Per Simi Valley PD:
Also, please do not stop in the lane closest to Cochran and wait for your child. It is dangerous for your child to navigate his/her way across the parking lot to get to you. Furthermore, cars stopped in the middle of the lane prevent parked cars from pulling out of their parking spaces. Jerry Block Principal |

College Financial Aid (11th and 12th grades only) |
A Cal Grant is money for college you don't have to pay back. California public high schools are required to submit a Cal Grant high school Grade Point Average (GPA) for all graduating seniors, unless the student or parent has opted out of the submission process, no later than October 1. Additionally, juniors will be deemed a Cal Grant applicant unless the pupil is opted out prior to the high school’s submission of GPAs to the Commission. Students who do not opt out will have their GPA submitted to the Commission to be considered for a Cal Grant award. If you do not want your school to report a GPA for a possible Cal Grant, please complete this form and return it to your high school counselor. | ||||||||||||||
