 Teens Wanted for Summer Volunteering at the Simi Valley Public Library June 19 - August 4
Join the Library's volunteer team for a summer filled with fun and entertainment.
Volunteer Tasks will include: assisting children and parents with registering for the program, record keeping, handing out prizes, assisting with special events, and more! Teen volunteers receive credit for community service. In addition, volunteers learn valuable job skills, make new friends, and have fun!
Requirements: Age range: going into 7th grade through just graduated from high school. Must be responsible, enthusiastic, helpful, and able to commit to at least 25 hours (10 - 12 shifts) over 7 weeks, between June 19th and August 4th. Must be available to attend the one training session on June 10th from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
If you meet all these requirements, please download the SRP volunteer form from the SVPL's website and return to the Library as soon as possible. The first 50 students to respond will be given first consideration. NOTE: If you already have an application on file with the Library, you still need to fill out the 2017 S@YL application. We hope you will join our Volunteer Team and help us make the Simi Valley Public Library the HAPPENING place to be this summer!
