Santa Susana High School - Monday Message

October 10, 2016

Student Mock Election On October 11, 2016, during TAP, Santa Susana High School students will have an opportunity to participate in the California Student Mock Election. In 2008, more than 275,000 students cast ballots in the California Student Mock Presidential Election, joining millions of other young mock election voters across the United States in an impressive display of student opinion on the candidates and issues affecting the future of our state and nation. We are excited about our SSHS students' civic engagement and look forward to reporting our election results to the California Secretary of State.

Some of the topics that will be covered are: the principles of financial aid, the types of financial aid, grants, work study programs, and the CSS profile. There will be a variety of useful handouts and booklets available at this event. October 5 @ 6:00 PM (MUR).
